"I'm beyond exhausted with this. Since January, almost every blitz/rapid/casual game pairs me with the same garbage: obvious cheaters playing perfect engine moves from move 5 with 98-100% accuracy and zero inconsistencies, trolls who stall/resign/abandon the second they lose or make the most idiotic moves to waste time, spammers flooding chat with nonsense/links, and now especially these super suspicious throwaway accounts with ridiculous usernames like asdfasdf, yyyyttttrrreee, trtrt_trtrt_rtrtr, random repeated consonants/numbers (qqqqwweerrr, zzzxcvbbb, etc.), and literally 0-10 games played total – obviously testers, bot accounts or hackers cycling through alts.I've blocked and reported dozens (probably over 50-60 by now) and it doesn't stop at all. New weird ones appear every session, or the same patterns keep coming back. It feels like the matchmaking is just dumping all the toxic/problematic accounts onto normal players. Is anyone else getting this nonstop since early this year? Anonymous pools are the worst, but even rated feels infested. Lichess team, please fix the pairing system or improve cheat/troll detection – it's making the site unplayable for honest people. Any workaround or better pool to avoid this nightmare?
Matched nonstop with hackers, trolls, spammers and weird throwaway accounts since January – I'm done
At least you cannot be 100% certain if your opponent is a human, an engine user, or someone receiving human assistance e.g. a better player plays in place of the person with the official nickname ( maby sitting next to him) and account or at least with the help of someone during the game.
The human assistance is the bigger problem in my understanding, as lichess has no chance to see through it or especially provide it.
Engine- user- cheaters can be detected in contrast.

No absolutely not. Sounds like your tilting. None of the games you've played lately and analyzed with the engine even have less then a few blunders by your opponents. You could try to improve and take the opportunities your opponents provide.
This is amusing to read, but really, you have severe selective perception
just because someone beats you that doesnt make them a cheater, you are just paranoid, calm down and take a breather, i understand how hard it is to manage your emotions after losing (been there done that). chess is a complicated game, just say well played and move on, take it as an opportunity to improve your own play
i would say, watch ben finegolds old videos of him playing on lichess, see his attitude and how nonchalant he is, try to be like him (he literally doesnt care). i kind of admire his personality
agreed
those issues are there
op only made the fault to say "nonstop", and such "only", which is of course way too exaggerated
answerers make the fault to bite that (unconsciously laid) bait only and instantly .. ' ' hey i discovered a logical incondistency - lets call it out loud ' '
i do think the pairing system needs a little work though, for instance when im playing if i have a bad performance in a few games i notice that im paired down, or if i have a high performance i get paired up (this is definitely tilting)
unless this a coincidence (i would rather just be paired +50 -50, i understand that its possible with the create a game feature, but for quick pairing which is just one button i have to press would make it better)
I'm surprised a lichess dev & mod could say things like this.
A background in coding and AI engineering too... ig intelligence really is situational.
there is masses of junk nicks.
full stop,
op is absolutely right on this point and not paranoid and not tilting { ^(what the frog what's that need to psychoanalyse people, pour pov on them, instead of sticking to the matter, the issue(s), arguing with and by informations ? gee) }
