The 2025 Atomic World Champion Was Just Banned.

wow, that's wild, I was suspect of that GodsParticle Fellow

I find it quite ridiculous that the best atomic player in the worlds would get banned for something as petty as creating many account. This being said, I understand how it could have set a bad example for other players (seeing that he was #1). Based on all the strategical insight he gave in tournaments, he clearly had some knowledge on the subject of atomic chess, which leads me to discredit the theory that he was cheating. All in all, I think that this was a bad call on the lichess moderators.

rip noz, I don't believe he cheated but getting banned for multiple accounts/boosting is pretty dumb

The ban for boosting seems completely correct. As for the ban for cheating I personally don't believe it is correct but maybe there were things I didn't see. I would be extremely surprised if cheating happened on the main account, but on some other alts, maybe.

What is boosting?

I think lichess defines it as - Taking advantage of opponents losing rated games on purpose is called "boosting" and is not allowed on Lichess.

I think the main issue is he used one of his alts to boost the rating of another alt, so he would match two accounts that belonged to him against each other in rated games and this is of course is not allowed
