Continuing the exploration of positional queen sacrifices.In Part 1 I introduced some examples of exciting and unusual positional queen sacrifices. In this second part, I want to add further examples that highlight how practical and uncomfortable these sacrifices can be for the defending side.

Nine years ago, the following position was part of my opening repertoire for Black. At the time, engines evaluated it as comfortably equal.
I still remember very clearly the first time I installed the neural-network-based engine “Leela” on my computer. To see what was supposed to be so special about it, I quickly ran it through some of my analyses that had previously been created with conventional engines.
And in the diagram position, to my great surprise, a shocking idea appeared!
The following game between Caruana and Nakamura made big headlines at the time it was played.
