Game Analysis of Sicilian Defence Opening - (Expert vs. Master)
intermediate
ChessNetworkOpeningSicilian defenseGame analysisScheveningen variationThis is a chess game review from an over the board tournament I competed in. I played the Sicilian Defense opening (Scheveningen variation) against a USCF Expert rated (2000-2199) opponent. White offers a pawn (gambit) at one point. My strategy was to decline the offer and attack on the queenside. The white king ends up getting trapped in the center of the board.
