I’ve realized how much I missed out by not preparing seriously in the past months.
Long term, this might turn out to be the biggest benefit of the experiment. :-)

Update:
A lot’s been going on lately...
I actually reached 2205 in bullet (I know, I promised I’d only grind to 2100 after hitting 2100 in blitz and rapid ehehehe)
But tbh, it’s been really hard recently trying to pretend everything’s okay and keep playing chess and racer on stream while I’m actually really sad about the whole situation. Danya’s passing hit me harder than I expected.
For now, I’m focusing on finishing my music projects, but once that’s done, I’m ready to lock in again. This time it’s gonna be different. I’m gonna watch his videos before and during the next challenge (analysis, speedruns, and opening prep). Hopefully I can learn a lot and make the grind meaningful.
Rest in peace, Sensei Danya
I hope you know that many of us will continue your legacy and keep learning from the priceless knowledge you’ve shared with us all this time.

There's so much psychology and stupid psychological labels where the numbers are round. It's incurable; people are feeble. Each of us.
