'In order to improve your game you must study the endgame before everything else; for, whereas the endings can be studied and mastered by themselves, the middle game and the opening must be studied in relation to the endgame.' - Capablanca

"The middlegames are always linked to your openings. Players that say that they can play the middlegames but not the openings are lying" - Roman Dzindzichashvili
I think we can agree on endgames, I am going to write an article about this subject really soon, what I have seen so far on websites like chessable - can be really digusting and wrong doing.
Thanks for remembering me this quote from Capablanca.
helloo
to be honest titled players lie to us so much that i am so confusing like my coach told me that the opening is not important but then some random guy said that openings are important.
When i started reading about pawn structures ,it became more evident that there is a deeper connection to openings & middlegames. I completely agree with the article that mastering one opening/pawn structure can give maximum benefits than hopping onto different openings (chessable syndrome).

Improving at chess and training chess is based on tendencies. You have to calculate naturally, not forcing yourself to calculate - as long as it's not the case, openings do not matter that much.
At your rating, I would recommend you to test your calculation first - in the case you're somewhat consistent at calculating, then openings can become a good idea.
