Comment Liren Ding a-t-il expliqué cette faute finale incompréhensible ( Tf2??) ( = Rookf2) ?
= How did Liren Ding explain this incomprehensible final blunder (Rook f2??) in the press conference?

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

there is no problem with the bishop in the corner. that position is a fortress that i've played against endgame and the draw is unmathomably easy. rook stays on f4, bishop stays on the long diagonal. it has 4 squares a8 b7 c6 and g2. if the rook ever goes to the 3rd rank king goes to f2 to defend the pawn. this setup stops the ONLY idea black has to push for a win which is to play Be4 and push with king, as this results in trade of the bishops and loss of the g4 pawn. if black trades the bishop the draw is atill simple, king goes to g2/g1 and rook stays on the f-file and black cant progress in the rook endgame because of the weak pawn.
bishops endgame is easy to draw. pawn endgame all you need is opposition.
