in the second game i think a4 is really too high level for that it worth trying to understand and memorize that move, at amateur level it should be possible to win without going into those kinds of subtleties. at the opposite in the third game dxc5 dxc5 Qxd8 Kxd8 is a basic tactic to remove the possibility to castle for black, not really dependent of a specific opening.
