There are some nice features here, but can you please make the user preferences stick? Otherwise, I might stop using it. Changing some default settings could also help. I doubt having the friend's box open and enabling sounds when friends are playing by default is useful, it is a nuisance for me personally.

Personally for me, showing the opening names, link to the game, and ability to view the last watched TV game is very helpful.

Thanks so much for the praise. What do you mean make user preferences stick? They are supposed to :D What browser are you using? Is there some extension that clears the local storage, perhaps some anti-cookie or add blocker?

Does anyone else have this problem that @sgtlaugh has? Preferences being set and getting lost? in v1.8.5 the friends box will be defaulted as menu and sounds off.

@TotalNoob69, thanks for the reply. Oh, I see what has happened. I use Lichess from Google Chrome incognito. If you've used the local storage to store the preferences, then it won't stick.

I've added an option to save the settings for incognito mode, too, but you have to first set it manually from Preferences. It's the last one, called "Also save options for browser private/incognito mode". A pretty weird request, though :)
