Lichess Game of the Month: April 24

Thanks. Always great to have fully annotated games for mere mortals like me. Isn't there a single study that contains all the GOTMs?

Thanks a lot to the Lichess Team! I played this game in a bad mood to hide from depression and take my mind off my problems. It is a rare but pleasant case when sadness is more useful for interesting thoughts. Appreciate and use difficult moments. It won’t help globally, but you will feel better for an hour or two.
Don't underestimate the power of hopelessness. Good luck! :)

Absolutely amazing game. King walk was phenomenal and then the rook sack tactic at the end to win the game was an awesome way to close. Can’t wait for the next Lichess game of the month!

Very nice game, just got back to chess recently, and this game inspires me to be better at chess itself, thanks!
