@TheWellHeeledKing does this happen with other browsers?
Apparently not. I just installed and tried in in Chrome. It's ok there. However, I really would prefer to avoid having to use Chrome just for lichess, when I use Firefox for literally everything else :-)

In your screenshot the tab of the game is titled "Game Over ....". So Lichess recognized the result of the game and send it to your browser. Did you change the settings of your browser or installed add ons?
It says "Game Over" on the tab but there are not the usual command buttons to return to the arena nor the end game status with the result (Checkmate, timeout, stalemate etc). I've not changed any settings in Firfox nor installed any new add-ons. However, as already mentioned, Firefox did recently update and I think that's when the problems started.

Top right edge? Do you mean on the tab? If so, see my prev. reply.

Here's another screenshot taken immediately after a game. I went back and took the previous one when asked for a screenshot, so the Game Over on the tab is apparently only there when you go back to a game. As you can see, here there is no "Game over" anywhere.
