About me

🌍 Who’s Your Coach?
I am a nineteen-year-old chess player and coach from Moldova. Chess has been an important part of my life for many years, both as a competitive sport and as an intellectual discipline. I enjoy working with motivated students who want to improve their thinking at the board, not just their rating.

Playing experience

♟️ Battle-Tested Playing Experience
I have 12+ years of playing experience and have competed in both online and OTB tournaments. My background includes classical / rapid / blitz chess, with notable results such as :
🏆 European Rapid and Blitz chess championship 2025 - 2nd place U20 (rapid)
🏆Moldavian Classical Chess Championship - 3rd place (2025) ; 2nd place (2024)
🏆Moldavian Classical Youth Chess Championship - 1st place (2024;2023)
🏆Moldavian Classical Team League - 1st place (2024)
🏆Moldavian Rapid Chess Championship - 2nd place (2023)
Hundreds of victories against IM and GM both in online and OTB chess
This practical experience of wonderful victories and disaster losses allows me to teach chess as it is really played — under time pressure and psychological stress.

Teaching experience

🎓 Proven Teaching Experience
I have been teaching chess for 3 years, working with students of different levels. My students see measurable improvement and regularly express satisfaction with both the results and my teaching approach .I focus on long-term progress and adapting lessons to each student’s goals and strengths.

Best skills

💎 What I Do Best
One of my key strengths as a coach is the ability to clearly recognize a player’s strengths and weaknesses, concentrate on the areas that need the most development, and harmonize all parts of the game — from the opening to the endgame.

Teaching methodology

🧠 Smart, Structured Teaching Method
Every lesson is individually prepared based on the student’s goals, level, and recent games. We work with real positions, critical moments, and typical structures — not blind memorization.
Between lessons, students receive targeted homework, detailed feedback, and a clear improvement plan. I closely track progress and adjust the training focus when needed.
My goal is simple:
to teach you how to think at the board and improve with confidence.
