About me

I am a 22 year-old FIDE Master from Hungary.
I have been playing chess since the age of 8, and also have experience in training.
Alongside chess, I study Business Informatics and work as a software developer.
Problem-solving, logical thinking, and structured learning play a central role both in my professional life and in my approach to chess.

Playing experience

I have been playing competitive chess since 2015.
I became a FIDE Master in 2022, highlighted by a run of 28 consecutive tournament games without defeat.
In recent years, I have consistently been among the top scorers of my club teams in the Hungarian Team Championships.
In 2025, I competed in the Grenke Open.
Over the years, I have scored victories against a Grandmaster rated over 2500 and against several International Masters.
Due to university studies, I compete less frequently now, focusing mainly on International Master round-robin tournaments.

Teaching experience

I have teaching experience with players ranging from beginner to advanced level.
I regularly help players around my own level with game analysis and preparation.
In addition, I have taken part as a coach in my club’s training sessions and have worked as an instructor in chess camps, teaching beginner-level children in group settings.
Several of my more advanced students have improved significantly under my guidance, progressing from approximately 1500–1600 to 1900–2000 rating.

Other experiences

I regularly analyze games on my own and together with strong players.
I enjoy creating my own training materials and study content.
In addition to chess, I have experience teaching mathematics.

Best skills

Thanks to a wide opening repertoire, I am familiar with many different types of positions.
I enjoy both sharp, tactical battles and more positional, strategic games.
My experience over the years has shown me that courageous and confident play leads to results.
I aim to pass on this mindset to my students, helping them play without fear and with confidence, regardless of the opponent.

Teaching methodology

I adapt my teaching to each student’s level and individual needs.
We first identify the areas that require the most improvement, but we always work on all phases of the game: opening, middlegame, and endgame.
A key part of my lessons is game analysis, as I strongly believe that analyzing games is one of the most effective ways to improve and avoid repeating the same mistakes.
I have a wide range of training materials available to support our work, and I also share selected materials with my students for independent study between lessons.
