IM Collin Colbow

I am Collin Colbow, a 19-year-old university student from Bremen, Germany. I am currently pursuing my studies in Natural Sciences for Sustainability, while chess remains an important part of my life, shaping me both as a player and a coach!

I’ve competed in many international tournaments around the world, including the World Youth Championships. My biggest achievement so far is becoming the German Youth Champion in the Under 18 category.

I am a young chess coach with 5 years of teaching experience. Since then, I have been coaching the top youth players at my club, but I also have experience working with adults.

We'll dive into understanding you as a player by analyzing your games to identify your strengths and growth areas. This focused approach will help us sharpen your skills, reinforce your strengths, and address any weaknesses—paving the way for a journey toward reaching the next levels in chess.
