Hi there! I'm a FIDE Master and one of the Head Instructors for the Italian Chess Federation. I have tons of experience as both a competitive player and a coach. I even made it to the finals of the Italian Absolute Championship in 2021 and hit a peak Elo of 2401, with an International Master norm to my name. One of my proudest moments was beating GM Solodovnichenko (Elo 2629).
I'm super passionate about teaching. I’ve served as a Regional Junior Delegate and have helped guide many talented young players from Liguria to the finals of the Italian Youth Championship. I’ve also organized tournaments and worked with local libraries to promote chess. On top of that, I’ve been an official commentator for the Italian channel of chess.com and have even done opening theory preparations with some incredible Grandmasters like Jobava, Dreev, and Martinez Alcantara.

Teaching experience
My coaching is tailored to each student. It focuses on in-depth analysis of strategic middlegame and endgame positions to correct your weaknesses. Later in the course, we'll build an opening repertoire for both White and Black. I can also provide interactive puzzles to track your progress and highlight areas that require further improvement. My method is a result of years of collaboration with various international coaches, and it's designed to get you the results you want.
Teaching methodology
I offer chess lessons via Teams in English and Italian.
Training is personalized and is based on the deep analysis of the player's games to focus the biggest effort on correcting the player's weaknesses, but without neglecting any of the areas of the game (tactics, strategy, endings, openings).
I can also give my students problems to solve to check the improvements and eventually the themes to focus on more.
Throughout my chess career, I have collaborated with many international coaches who were using many different approaches.
