Chess royale?

Ever heard of clash royale? The idea of clash royale is that it’s an online game where you place troops/pieces to destroy your opponents tower. Then I got bored so I made clash royale in chess ... sort of .... The one huge difference is your opponent doesn’t have towers only a vulnerable king .

The idea is each turn u gain 1 elixir per move and u can buy pieces with elixer for that pieces value for example: pawn for 1 elixer , queen for 9 and so on . (note buying a piece will not give u elixer for that turn) also u can only place buy pieces and place them on your half of the board

The starting position is just the white king on d1 and black king on d8 you gain elixer as you move on :D

Custom pieces :
goblins. 2 goblins for 3 elixer and 3 for 4 elixer : they move like kings except they can’t move diagonally however they can capture diagonally. Goblin curse 2 elixer : in a 2x2 area they transform all enemy pawns into ur goblins

Elixer pump 5 elixer: can’t move and every 2 turns u move gain 1 extra elixer also when destroyed by enemy pieces gain 1 elixer instantly (can also be destroyed on command)

Bowler 5 elixer : moves like a bishop and can throw a bowlder and the bowlder can be thrown 4 tiles in diagonals or straight lines for 1 elixer killing pawns goblins and knocking other pieces to the side ( note if a piece is on the side it will get knocked off the board this includes the king) also it can only kill / push the first 2 pieces in a line or diagonal

Other pieces from normal chess move the same and check and checkmate is the same!
I still have a couple more pieces to add

Goblin hut costs 5 elixer : can’t move and every 3 turns spawns one goblin around it

Arrows 3 elixer :destroys pawns and goblins in a 3x3 area

Guards 3 elixer: basically pawns but they have 2 lives btw they can still promote like normal pawns

Fireball 5 elixer: kills rooks, pawns, goblins and barbarians and goblin huts in any 4 squares as long as they are connected but can only be used 3 times per game by each player

Barbarians 5 elixer for 4 barbs in spawned in a line they are basically a king also they die to fireball (I had to nerf them rlly hard they were 2 broken they used to be 4 elixer for 5 barbs)

Log 2 elixer knocks all pieces in a 1x6 file (not rank) to the side or off the edge if they are sitting on the edge also kills pawns and goblins (note it won’t knock a king or a queen )

Freeze 6 elixer :kills pawns in a 2x2 area but also stops other pieces in that 2x2 radius from moving during your opponents next turn this includes the king (note this be played on your turn when your in check to buy yourself a turn)

Mega knight 7 elixer moves like a rook but you can place it on goblins, pawns and barbarians to destroy them on that square any other piece you place it on just gets knocked backed one square next to the mega knight (it won’t knock the king )

Valkyrie 4 elixer moves like a rook but only 1 or 2 squares and attacks like a king except it hits all the squares around it all at once (attacking and moving are can’t be used in the same turn) also (only kills pawns, barbarians and goblins)

Some additional rules all card get destroyed by pieces taking it for example a pawn can take an elixer pump or a bowler

Additionel rule2: pawns can still promote but they can only promote to non custom pieces

Additional rule 3: buying a piece Will count as your turn however you can buy multiple pieces at once as long as they don’t put the opponents king in check and that you can afford the pieces(note buying a piece will not count as moving therefore you do not gain elixer from buying a piece)

Additional rule 4: I feel this goes without saying but any piece that can move can take the king/checkmate besides building at spells

If u want an extra challenge u can make a deck of 5 -8 of the pieces to play against someone (This includes the normal pieces)

To make the extra pieces simply cut out paper and write the custom pieces names in them or colour/draw on the pieces of paper
