Lichess Game of the Month: December '25

By January 12th, several of your best games of December were shared via our forum post.

Our team went on to carefully check all submitted games and found that the game of @BRIANGD was outstanding. Congrats!

You can now submit your best Game of the Month January on the pinned topic in our forums until February 12!

Conditions to submit your Game of the Month January:

• Only standard games (no variants)
• Only games that have been played in January 2025
• Only one game per user (additional games will be ignored)

Although variant games aren't allowed here, some of our official variant teams are hosting their own Game of the Month contests — check them out:
