What to do when you have violated the Lichess terms of service

1. The first thing to do when you find out you violated Lichess

Go to https://lichess.org/appeal to find out why your account is marked
or

Go to contacts from underneath the top rated game on the homepage then go to Appeal for a ban or IP restriction and press into Engine or cheat mark or other restrictions and go through into the appeal link (already given above). This direction to getting would be better for future needs

2. Write an appeal

Did you or did you not violate Lichess?
Write an appeal why or why not you did or didn't violate Lichess. Usually, if you did violate Lichess, you will get a second chance but there will be a time suspension.
If you didn't violate Lichess, write an appeal of why you didn't and they will review and check it.
A mod should reply within 48hrs.

3. Tips to write an appeal

• Be truthful. The Lichess mods would usually know when you are lying so don't lie. It's not worth it. If you stay truthful, you may get a second chance.
• Stick to the point. Don't of topic talking about random stuff in your appeal, write a quick and straight paragraph about your appeal.
• Keep an appropriate language. The mods would ignore discriminative appeals
