How to stop blundering and start winning

Off topicLichessTacticsStrategyChess
If you're like me, you'll have blundered a few times, then thought:

'Oh, I wish I could take that back.'

OK, OK, I know. The time pressure got to you. But play more and more games (the best are Bullet and UltraBullet), and soon, you won't feel as pressured by the time, so blunder less, and win more games. Here are some top tips, so you blunder a lot less:

  1. Take a few seconds to see if there's any danger, but not if it's a trap
  2. Make SURE that you don't exchange a higher-valued piece for a less-valued one

(Queen = 9
Rook = 5
Bishop = 3
Knight = 3
Pawn = 1

You should probably know all this from the Lichess Chess Basics in the Learn heading at the top, but just a good little reminder.)

All these tips should give you a little boost when playing, but if they don't, then message me and I'll give you a super-special 3rd one.
Oh, you want it anyway?
Well, I promised my dad...
But you can have it.
The most IMPORTANT thing when playing Chess is to...

REMOVE ALL POSSIBLE DISTRACTIONS FROM YOUR SURRONDINGS.

There you go!
You now know how you beat your friends, and most people with a lower rating than you all the time (well, most of the time) at Chess.
But, um...
PLEASE don't come after me now that you've read this.
Because, um... you're practically unbeatable now.
So if you come after me...
I'm in deep, deep trouble.

Chess_M4ster_9, signing off. VERY worriedly. You know, after I shared all my best secrets with you as to how I win tons.
Anyway, bye!
