Youngest International Master EVER | Faustino Oro
10 years, 8 months, and 16 daysOn June 30th, 2024 Faustino Oro earned his 3rd and final International Master norm at the 2024 Cerrado IM Barcelona Junio tournament by scoring 6.5/9. As a result, the Argentine prodigy at only 10 years, 8 months, and 16 days became the youngest International Master ever, breaking the previous mark by Abhimanyu Mishra who became an IM at 10 years, 9 months, and 3 days. Featured is Faustino Oro's round 6 win against FM Alex Villa Tornero which put him in an excellent position to secure the coveted International Master title.
